A native of Williamstown, West Virginia, Dr. Elliott came to Marietta College in 2016 to direct the Nonprofits LEAD capacity building program and was promoted to Director of the Office of Community Engagement in 2021. She moved to the faculty in 2023 and is now an Assistant Professor of Leadership Studies.

She has an extensive background in facilitating organizational and personal change and development, as well as experience in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors, including founding and leading organizations in both. Dr. Elliott’s professional joy comes from making connections between campus and community while working toward sustainability for all organizations. She is a trustee of the Memorial Health Foundation, a Bronze Award Leader for Girl Scouts, and a lifetime member of the Marietta Welfare League.
