Allegheny tops Marietta 64-53 to win Jim Meagle Turkey Shoot
Gators' Jill Gregory named MVP after near triple-double effort

MARIETTA, Ohio — Allegheny College captured the 24th annual Jim Meagle Turkey Shoot Tournament title on Sunday (Nov. 30) afternoon by defeating host Marietta College 64-53 in the championship game at Ban Johnson Arena. Most Valuable Player Jill Gregory led Allegheny with 15 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists and three steals. Earlier in the day, Penn State University-Beaver claimed the consolation game by beating Hiram College 73-67.
