Meeting minutes from April 7, 2004, were approved.

Items:
Fees for part time graduate students: McShaffrey is waiting to hear back from Vice President for Administration and Finance Dan Bryant on this matter. Hopefully, information received can be distributed to Council members via email instead of calling another meeting.

Council memo of support for graduate programs: Members reviewed and made editorial changes to the statement McShaffrey emailed to members. The motion to approve the letter passed unanimously.

Policies & practices: Members reviewed and edited the draft McShaffrey emailed to members. McShaffrey will revise the document to reflect changes. The motion to accept the revised document passed with one nay vote.

This is the last scheduled meeting of Graduate Council for this academic year. Members thanked McShaffrey for chairing Council this year.
