1. Review Minutes and corrected

Item #2 should read Instructional Technology(not Technician) Search

Minutes approved and accepted.

Minutes will be listed on web page (Info Tech Dept.)

2. Office XP compatibility report – Vickie Graham

XP not compatible with Windows 95 – 2/3 of campus running 95 - Vickie will survey the campus to gather information on computers type/windows – results on this completed by 11/14/01

Issues to consider: Cost to upgrade operating systems

Can move Labs to XP?

Compatibility sending information back and forth with these systems – Dave Mader will provide data for testing

Dave McShaffrey – Will run tests on Biology programs

John Davis – Check about windows 2000 w/datatel

Vickie Graham will run some test computers and will report results in 2 weeks 10/24/01

3. Title III Assessment – Carla Scanlon

Needs suggestion who to be on Committees from EMA, Mass Media etc

A. Setting up committee members

B. Going over goals of Title III

C. Carla Scanlan added to sub-committee to Identify current courses with significant technology components

D. Develop process for submission and evaluation of technical enhanced courses

4. Discussed reporting procedure for subcommittees

Subcommittees will report at each meeting if there is anything to report

5. Discussed having a student(s) members for TAG committee

6. Internet Policy – Dan Bryant

Mahendra Singh added to committee list

Next meeting will be Wednesday, October 24 at 12:00 noon in president’s conference room.
