New Business:

Campus conversation for noon tomorrow (Feb 5) to get input from entire campus.  Laura, Jim & John from TAG committee will give brief update to Community.

After updates, TAG members will break off into smaller groups with those attending for input and ideas.

Discussed TIG activities – Technology showcase to show what’s been done so far with TIG grants – Jim Frye volunteered space in the PA area for this.  Discussed how to get word out.

Discussion about shared Departmental TIGS – other departments sharing the resources so that more of the campus community can benefit.  Collaborating grants shared by various departments.  Such as training on equipment or software: Photoshop, how to burn DVD, Flash.

Dan Huck mentioned that in the earlier TAG meetings it was mentioned that any equipment bought through the TIGS and used for a short term project would be returned to the IT department at the end of the project to be shared by others.  This would help us to keep track of our equipment.  There would be a sign off sheet when others wanted to borrow the TIG equipment.

What happened to purchasing Adobe Acrobat for the campus – information about this will be investigated by Debbie (Schoolworld software – Mike Hallock)

Next meeting will be Tuesday, February 11 at 2:30.
