Old Business

CDigix – 2 faculty are interested in using after on-campus demonstration.

OCDE held – Laura attended – our school on even ground technologically with other schools

New Business

Blogging Server set up – will eventually be integrated into the portal – discussed code of conduct for people using BLogs – Eric Fitch volunteered to write up a set of guidelines – Blog policy

Laura has a new office located on the ground floor of the Library

Live Text Demo – online Portfolios – there is a fee to be able to use – individual students pay fee

OC3 on order will begin August 1 installation

MIT open courseware Project – resource on campus – if there is interest

1. Community outreach
2. Commercial admission for potential students – for tests quizzes info about the courses available – sample for interested parties to look over.

PEW Internet and American Life: College Report – Technology is best used as a supplement to face to face.

Turning Point demo – allows people to be interactive with all students in classroom for online and standard classes – costs?  May be of interest – Laura will check about getting demo for campus
