English as a Second Language Program

Marietta College offers a comprehensive English as a Second Language (ESL) Program that helps international students to succeed in college courses and interact with American students.

Levels of ESL Courses

There are different levels of ESL courses for international students who need or want help with English as a Second Language.

  • For students with a high proficiency, we offer support courses that they may elect to take; these courses help with English that students need in their academic courses as they get used to studying in America.
  • For students who need more help, we offer courses at the high intermediate and intermediate levels to suit their needs.
