About Feature 1

Asian Studies

The Asian Studies program is interdisciplinary and uses the resources of several departments. Administratively, the program is part of the Department of Modern Languages.

In addition to choosing from a wealth of courses, students have several opportunities to put their coursework into practice. Marietta College has strategic relationships with a number of institutions of higher learning in China, Hong Kong, and Thailand, allowing students to study abroad and professors to visit and do research in those institutions. Our sister institutions also send students and professors to Marietta College, providing insight into Chinese culture that is difficult to obtain through coursework.
