Describe what life was like during your time at Marietta College.
Life was stressful during my time at Marietta College. I worked hard to get good grades. But, life was also incredibly fun and I made some of my best friends.
What impact did Marietta College have on your career?
Marietta College had a big impact on my career and my professionalism. I’m not sure if the Career Center still holds “Wine and Dine.” It was a program that helped students learn proper etiquette and networking skills. I still vividly remember the rules I learned. Also, the College required critical thinking skills. There isn’t a syllabus in the real world. Taking on leadership opportunities like being President of CSHO taught me to work with others, think on my toes and become resourceful.
What does it mean to be a Pioneer?
A Pioneer is a trailblazer. We are hard working, resourceful and innovative. For me being a Pioneer means taking the lead and striving to be the best.
