Arrival Information for Fall 2012
When you arrive at your residence hall during your assigned move-in day and time, our staff and volunteers will check you into your hall. In order to maintain a smooth and efficient move-in experience for the 1,000 students living in our residence halls, we are unable to take individual requests for specific move-in times or dates.
If you or a parent/guardian/family member require special accommodations (wheelchair accessibility, limited mobility), please feel free to contact our office (Dean of Student 740-376-4736) so that we may assist you.
First Year students as you arrive on campus August 23 you will find the Butler Street entrance to the campus blocked off and supervised by the College Police. The officers will be controlling the flow of cars on to the campus. Once you are directed to approach your residence hall, unload your vehicle near the hall, and while someone stays with your belongings, please move the car to a regular parking lot. After you unload do not leave your vehicle parked near the residence hall or on the street. This will ensure that others are able to do the same.
Upper class students moving into Harrison Hall and McCoy will still have some inconveniences when approaching the buildings since the new parking lot will not be completed until later in the Fall Semester. College Police will be directing traffic so you will be able to unload your car as close to your residence hall as possible. Once you have unloaded your vehicle please move it to a regular parking lot.
