Daniel C. Bryant
Vice President for Administration and Finance
As the Vice President for Administration/Chief Financial Officer
of Marietta College, Mr. Bryant has more than 32 years of experience in administration
and business affairs.
In 1972, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in psychology
from Juniata College. He received his Master of General Administration from the
University of Maryland in 1984.
Mr. Bryant began his career at Gallaudet University in Washington
D.C. in various positions leading to Director of Business
and Operations Services. From 1985 to 1989, he served as Business
Manager and Treasurer at Rockhurst College in Kansas City,
Mo.
A career move took Mr. Bryant to Southwestern University where
he served as Vice President for Fiscal Affairs from 1989 to
1996.
In 1996, he returned to Washington, D.C. as Associate Vice
President for Business and Financial Affairs at Georgetown
University Law Center.
In 2000, Bryant traveled abroad to the Higher College of Technology
in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates as the Director of Finance
and Administration.
He returned to the United States in 2001 and assumed his current
role as Vice President for Administration and Finance at Marietta
College.
Mr. Bryant and his wife, Evy, are private pilots and share
ownership of a Piper Cherokee. They are also avid Pittsburgh
Pirate fans. |
