Debra R. Higgins, Director

Debra is a graduate of Marietta College with a B.A. degree and she has a Masters in Education in Counselor Education from Ohio University. She has numerous years of professional experience providing personal and academic services to college students. She is available for individual academic assistance with study skills or any area of academic concern. Debra is also responsible for assuring the ARC is meeting the needs of the Marietta College community. Please contact Debra directly for information and assistance.

Barb Cheadle, Disabilities Specialist

Barb is a graduate of Marietta College with a Bachelor's Degree (BA.) in Psychology. She has worked in the mental health field for over 10 years in a variety of roles including Business Management, Compliance Maintenance, Staff Training and Clinical Support. Barb is able to review documentation of a disability and work individually with students to develop appropriate recommendations of accommodations to the faculty. She is available to advise students and consult with faculty about individual student needs. Please contact Barb if you have questions about available services for students with a disability.

Tracey M. Dutton, Secretary/Tutor Coordinator

Tracey is a graduate from Marietta High School and is a life long resident of Marietta. She comes to Marietta College from the Marietta Family YMCA with nearly 10 years of administrative experience. Tracey is responsible for serving as the ARC's initial liaison with students, faculty, staff and individuals outside the campus community and also to coordinate the day-to-day office functions.
