The Rickey Science Center is one of the newest additions to the campus. This 38,000 square foot addition to the Selby Science Center and Bartlett Biology Building (both remodeled) makes for a single building devoted to the sciences. The center provides state-of-the-art classrooms and laboratories for Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Mathematics and Computer Science, Physics, and the Physician Assistant Studies program. The 22 labs housed within permit pre-lab lectures, experiments, and discussions to be held in the same room, allowing theory and practice to be more closely connected in the minds of the students. After-hours access to laboratories is available for students conducting research. All of the rooms in the Rickey Science Center are devoted to teaching and learning.
