Office of College Relations

The Office of College Relations exists to advance College goals and to provide marketing, public relations, media and publications support for all Marietta College offices, departments, programs and services.

College Relations also serves as an important liaison with external publics, communicating and interpreting the College's mission as it relates to the larger community beyond the Marietta campus. We strive to meet your needs in a collegial, responsive and professional manner.

• Identifying and making contact with appropriate media outlets
• Providing counsel on issues management and crisis communications
• Publicizing events
• Offering training on communications skills
• Editing and facilitating writing assistance
• Fostering community involvement
• Serving a variety of campus clients and promotions with graphic design and production of print materials
• Writing and disseminating Hometown news releases
