Susan Allender
Assistant Director of Annual Giving

Ms. Allender has served as Assistant Director of Annual Giving since May of 2002, where she is primarily responsible for the planning and direction of the Marietta College phonathon, class agent and senior giving programs. In 2004-05 the phonathon operation reached a new milestone, raising more than $200,000.

Prior to her arrival at MC, Ms. Allender started two businesses in Athens, Ohio, which she ran simultaneously for 10 years. Previously, she had been employed by Forma Scientific in Marietta for 12 years as an inside sales representative.

She earned her Associate of Arts Degree in Business Administration in 2003 from Marietta College and is nearing completion of her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Management. She is a member of Alpha Sigma Lamda Honor Society and is on the Dean’s High Honors List.

Ms. Allender resides in Marietta with her husband, Rocky, and their son, Ryan.
