| Linda Stroh
Director of Donor Relations
Ms. Stroh, who has more than 25 years of experience in higher
education, is the Director of Donor Relations at Marietta
College. She has been a member of the Advancement Team since
July 2006.
Prior to joining Marietta College, she worked at Virginia
Tech as the Director of Alumni Relations in the College of
Engineering. She was responsible for planning and executing
stewardship activities for the College's alumni in coordination
with the central Office of Alumni Relations. These activities
included acknowledgment and recognition events for scholarship
donors and recipients, faculty holding alumni-endowed chairs,
and other special events designed to bring alumni to campus
or university faculty and staff out to alumni.
From 1979-99, Stroh was a member of the Dean's staff at the
Russ College of Engineering and Technology at Ohio University.
She coordinated the College's public relations, stewardship,
scholarship and special events programs. She also advised
prospective undergraduate students.
During her last five years at Ohio University, Stroh served
as Director of the Ohio University Airport, administering
a $2 million annual budget.
Stroh earned a bachelor's degree in organizational communication
and a master's degree in interpersonal communication—both
from Ohio University in Athens.
Ms. Stroh resides in Marietta, Ohio.
