Annual Senior Art Exhibition opens April 8 at Hermann Fine Arts

Marietta College’s Art Department is proud to present “Nothing Too Weird,” an exhibition featuring the work of the graduating seniors.

The exhibition will run from April 8 to May 8, and will include an opening presentation to celebrate the accomplishments of these seniors is scheduled from 6-8 p.m., Friday, April 8.

The show will be held at the College’s Hermann Fine Arts Center Gallery on the third floor.

The exhibition features eight senior artists who work in a variety of mediums and styles. This year’s artists feature Ryan Allender ’11 (Marietta, Ohio), Chelsea Broderick ’11 (Hudson, Ohio), Aleece Dye ’11 (Beverly, Ohio), Laura Eddy ’11 (Fleming, Ohio), Sarah Harmon ’11 (Wheeling, W.Va.), Casey Levens ’11 (Centerville, Ohio), Ariel Stadden ’11 (Cleveland, Ohio) and Lauren Yanko ’11 (Akron, Ohio).

Capstone students have been working hard all year to create this exhibition and share their hard work and talents with their friends, family and the community.

The exhibition and opening is free and open to the public, with regular gallery hours from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday-Friday and 1-10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Hermann Fine Arts is handicapped accessible. For information: (740) 376-4696.
