Marietta College’s Fall 2014 Physics Colloquium Series kicks off Sept. 19 with Ohio University’s Dr. Douglas Clowe, who is the Director of the Astrophysical Institute.
Each fall speaker will begin at noon in Rickey 166. Pizza and drinks will be provided and each event is free and open to the public.

The Oct. 17 presenter is still to be determined, but the Oct. 31 meeting will have Marietta College students Alexandra Jurgens ’15 and Nicholas Miller ’15 talking about their summer research experiences.
The final fall speaker is Carl Nelson, who is the Chief Scientist and Exhibits Director at Imagination Station (formerly COSI Toledo). He will speak about “Don’t Try This at Home: Fun with Informal Science Education,” on Nov. 14.
