College announces November’s community shows at Planetarium

Marietta College’s Dr. Ann Bragg, Director of the Anderson Hancock Planetarium, recently announced the community show for November is going to be “Zula Patrol: Down to Earth.”

This show created by Spitz, Inc., explores the history of the planet Earth in a fun context. There will also be a “star talk” discussion on current astronomical events.

The shows will run 7 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 18 and also 2 and 3:30 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 21.

Although this program is mainly targeted toward children ages 4 through 9, all ages are welcome.

The Anderson Hancock Planetarium is located on the Marietta College campus on the corner of Fourth and Butler streets.

The Planetarium will be accepting reservations for November’s shows starting Nov. 1. To reserve your free spot, call (740) 376-4827 or send an email to planetarium@marietta.edu. They will also be accepting donations at the conclusion of each program and those without reservations will be admitted on a space-available basis.
