Physician Assistant program collecting items for EVE Inc.
Students from Marietta College’s Physician Assistant Studies Program are conducting a toy drive for local children this holiday season.
The students decided to collect toys for a second consecutive year after receiving more than 200 donations last year. The toys were distributed by EVE Inc. to underprivileged children in the Washington County area this holiday season.
EVE Inc. is a Marietta organization that has reached out to many local families to create a healthy and safe living environment. EVE also provides shelter, programs and other services.
New and gently used toys are acceptable and will be delivered to the Eve Shelter again this year. Donations can be dropped off on the third floor of Bartlett in room 326, or call (740) 376-4458 for pick-up.
Donations should be made by Dec. 10.
“The PA Program faculty and staff are proud that the students are involved in a community project such as this, and look forward to continued community support,” said Dr. Gloria Stewart, who chairs the Physician Assistant program.
The Marietta College Physician Assistant program is in its third year with a total of 40 students enrolled.
