Power Outage Update: July 2
Here is your latest Pioneer Alert on the power outage across our region.
While power has been restored to campus, Marietta College officials recognize that many of our employees have not had power return to their homes and this has placed an undue burden on many of you.
Therefore, here is how the rest of the week will unfold on campus.
On Tuesday, July 3: Only key personnel should report to work and all summer classes have been cancelled. Physician Assistant students should report for their examination, though.
On Wednesday, July 4: The College will observe the Fourth of July holiday.
Starting on Thursday, July 5 the College will return to normal hours of operation. Understanding that some of you may not be in an ideal position to come back to work, the College will observe a liberal leave policy on Thursday and Friday. If you choose to take off one or both days you will be required to use a vacation or personal day, but you do not need the approval of a supervisor.
We will continue to monitor the situation and update you on any changes as needed.
