Schedule Update: Marietta adds Sunday JV/Varsity doubleheader with Thiel (Pa.)
Varsity will play first at 2 p.m.

MARIETTA, Ohio — The Marietta College baseball team has added a varsity/junior varsity doubleheader to its schedule this week, Head Coach Brian Brewer announced Monday (Apr. 30). The Etta Express will play host to Thiel (Pa.) College on Sunday (May 6) at Don Schaly Stadium. The single, nine-inning varsity game will take place at 2 p.m. with a junior varsity game slated for 5 p.m.

The addition will allow Marietta (24-11) to play the NCAA-maximum 40-game regular season schedule.

In addition to Sunday's match up with Thiel, the Etta Express has two non conference games before closing out the OAC regular season Saturday (May 5) at home against Baldwin-Wallace at 12 p.m. on Alumni Day. Marietta will visit Wittenberg Tuesday (May 1) and Washington & Jefferson (Pa.) Wednesday (May 2). Both are junior varsity/varsity doubleheaders.
