Eschbaugh named Academic All-OAC in 2007
Senior shortstop also an All-OAC honorable mention performer

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio — The Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) announced the 2007 Academic All-OAC Baseball winners Thursday (May 17) afternoon, and Marietta College senior Ryan Eschbaugh (Marietta) was named first team Academic All-OAC.
Eschbaugh, an athletic training major with a 3.35 GPA, is the first member of the pin stripes to earn the league's academic honor since Nate Brown and Dan May in 2003. The shortstop was also named All-OAC honorable mention this spring. When not playing baseball, Eschbaugh is active in the Student Athletic Training Organization.
21 players from the Conference have been named Academic All-OAC and Academic All-OAC honorable mention in 2007. The academic award winners are selected by the OAC faculty athletics representatives. To be eligible for Academic All-OAC, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.25 cumulative GPA, be a starter or key reserve and be in at least her second year of participation in the sport.
