Marietta College's Creasap named All-OAC honorable mention in 2007
Sophomore leads the league in three-point field goals

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio — Marietta College sophomore guard Isaiah Creasap (Wooster/Northwestern) picked up honorable mention Tuesday (Feb. 27) afternoon when the Ohio Athletic Conference released its 2007 men's basketball special awards and All-OAC Teams. The awards were voted on by the league's coaches.
Creasap becomes the 71st Pioneer since 1950-51 to be recognized by the OAC for his performance on the hardwood. It is also the 13th straight year that at least one Marietta player earned some type of league honor.
Creasap, a shooting guard, started in all 25 games this season. He averaged 14.4 points, 1.6 assists and 1.6 rebounds while shooting .436 from three-point range. He finished the regular season ranked first in the OAC in three-point field goals made, fifth in three-point percentage and tenth in scoring.
Creasap scored a career-high 34 points and helped his team upset then-No. 8 Ohio Northern on January 20. Overall, he reached double figures in 19 games. Creasap was named to the Marietta College Shrine All-Tournament Team for his performance that weekend.
Marietta College finished the year 5-20 overall and 1-17 in the Ohio Athletic Conference. The Pioneers will open the 2007-08 season at the Gettysburg (Pa.) College Tournament November 16-17.
