TIFFIN, Ohio - Marietta and Heidelberg combined for 39 shots Saturday (Oct. 9) afternoon, but both goalies prevented any from finding the back of the net, as the men's soccer game ended in a scoreless tie.

The Pioneers (3-4-2, 0-2-1 OAC) totaled 11 shots, while Heidelberg (6-5-1, 0-2-1 OAC) racked up 28 in the double overtime contest.

Adam Cervenka (Mentor) collected 12 saves, while Heidelberg's Chad Fogle finished with four.

Marietta will travel to New Concord Tuesday (Oct. 13) in search of its first OAC victory of the 2004 season. Game time is scheduled for 4 p.m.
