| Marietta falls 3-1 to Juniata (PA) at PSU-Altoona Tournament
Pioneers will battle Albright (PA) tomorrow at 4 p.m.

ALTOONA, PA – Head Coach Patrick Holguin's young men's soccer squad suffered another early season setback Saturday (Sept. 10), falling 3-1 to Juniata (PA) in the opening round of the Lion Invitational, hosted by Penn State-Altoona.
An early goal gave the Eagles a 1-0 advantage. Marietta's Mike Zourdos (Potomac, MD/The Bullis School) tied the score at 1-1 with his first goal of the season. The score came less than three minutes into the second half.
Juniata regained the lead with a goal in the 64th minute and added another in the final minute to secure the 3-1 victory.
Marietta finished with 12 shots, while Juniata fired off 18 in the win.
Freshman goalkeeper Brian Bugge (Stafford, VA/Colonial Forge) made six saves, while allowing three goals in 90 minutes.
The Pioneers will return to action at the tournament when they battle Albright (PA) Sunday (Sept. 11) at 1 p.m.
