Marietta's Nau named OAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week
Nau scores three goals at the Fall Invitational

MARIETTA, Ohio – The Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) announced its weekly awards for Sept. 11, and Marietta's junior midfielder Joel Nau (Marietta) was named the Men's Soccer Player of the Week.

Nau, who was named to the All-Tournament Team, played a key role in both of the Pioneers' matches at the Fall Invitational, hosted by Penn State-Altoona, over the weekend. The junior scored Marietta's lone goal in its 2-1 overtime loss to Albright (Pa.) on Saturday. He then accounted for Marietta's first two goals — the game-tying and game-winning — in its 7-1 victory over Thiel (Pa.) in the consolation game.

Marietta will return to action on Tuesday (Sept. 12), when it visits Wooster for a 5 p.m. non conference showdown with the Fighting Scots.
