| Marietta College's Joel Nau named All-OAC in soccer
Nov. 10, 2006 Nau, a captain, led the team in assists with five and was second in goals scored with four and total points with 13. The midfielder's best game came against Thiel (Pa.), when he scored a pair of goals and added an assist in a 7-1 Pioneer victory. The performance highlighted a three-game stretch that saw Nau score all four of his goals this season. Marietta finished the year with an overall record of 2-15 and 0-9 in the OAC. The Pioneers are expected to have five seniors in 2007 as they look to bounce back from a tough season. |
