MARIETTA, Ohio — Marietta College Softball is hosting it’s 3rd annual Marietta Girls Youth Softball Day on Saturday (Apr. 14) in conjunction with the Pioneers' Ohio Athletic Conference doubleheader with Baldwin-Wallace. The first game is scheduled to begin at Marietta Field at 1 p.m.
"Youth Softball Day provides a great opportunity to encourage and promote the great sport of softball with area girls and their families while at the same time providing terrific support for our Pioneers," said Head Coach Jeanne Arbuckle. "We really appreciate the support we've received from Ray Stathers and the Marietta Girls Youth Softball League and we're happy to sponsor this event again this year in conjunction with Schob Team Sports and Dixie Sporting Goods."
T-shirts, souvenir softballs and other items will be given away every half-inning of the first game with Baldwin-Wallace. All school age girls in attendance will be eligible to enter the prize drawings. |
