Pioneers back in action Wednesday at Muskingum

MARIETTA, Ohio — The Marietta College men's tennis team dropped its fourth straight match to open the season Saturday (March 31) afternoon, falling to visiting Heidelberg, 9-0.
The match began outdoors at the Beren Tennis Center but was moved inside the Dyson Baudo Recreation Center after doubles play.
The Student Princes (6-3, 1-1 OAC) dominated the match, winning in doubles by a combined scored of 24-1. It was just as lopsided at singles, as Heidelberg won 48-5.
Marietta (0-4, 0-2 OAC) is back in action Wednesday (Apr. 4), when it visits rival Muskingum for a 3:30 p.m. match. |
