Carraher improves to 6-1, but Lady Pioneers fall at Otterbein, 8-1

WESTERVILLE, Ohio — The Marietta College women's tennis team suffered an 8-1 loss to host Otterbein College Wednesday (Apr. 11) afternoon.

The loss drops the Lady Pioneers' record to 2-5 overall and 1-4 in the Ohio Athletic Conference. The Cardinals improved to 9-7, 4-1 in the OAC.

Marietta's only point came at first singles, where sophomore Amanda Carraher (Hilliard/Davidson) improved to 6-1 on the year with a 7-5, 6-3 victory.

The Pioneers return to action Saturday (Apr. 14) when they play host to rival Baldwin-Wallace for a 10 a.m. match.
