Lady Pioneers fall to visiting Yellow Jackets
Carraher hands Isaac first ever OAC loss at first singles

Apr. 14, 2007
MARIETTA, Ohio — Marietta College sophomore Amanda Carraher (Hilliard/Davidson) accomplished something no other Ohio Athletic Conference women's tennis player has done over the last four years. She defeated Baldwin-Wallace's two-time OAC Player of the Year Andrea Isaac in first singles.

The Yellow Jackets, however, won the match 8-1 to improve to 19-2 overall and 7-0 in the OAC. The Pioneers fell to 2-6, 1-5 in the OAC.

Carraher, who has now won six straight matches and improved to 7-1 on the season, snapped Isaac's 40-match win streak in OAC play. She improved to 16-3 in her career with the Pioneers.

Marietta is back in action Tuesday (Apr. 17). The Pioneers will travel to Alliance to take on Mount Union at 3:30 p.m.
