Men's tennis falls to non conference foe Franciscan, 6-3
Pioneers resume OAC play Wednesday with Mount Union

BETHANY, W.Va. — The Marietta College men's tennis team took a break from Ohio Athletic Conference play to take on Franciscan University of Steubenville Monday (Apr. 16) afternoon on the campus of Bethany (W.Va.) College. The Barons won the match 6-3.
Marietta (0-10) earned a point a third doubles, when sophomores Clint Perkins (St. Marys, W.Va) and Justin Yager (Marion/Pleasant) won 8-3.
Yager and Perkins also won their singles matches. Yager, who was playing fifth singles, won 8-3. Perkins took his sixth singles match by the score of 8-4.
The Pioneers return to action Wednesday (Apr. 18) afternoon when it plays host to OAC rival Mount Union at 3:30 p.m.
