30 Pioneers slated
to compete at All-Ohio Division III Outdoor Championships
Competition rescheduled for Wednesday at Ohio

MARIETTA, Ohio — Head Coach Derek Stanley
will get another gauge of his program's progress Wednesday (Apr.
18), when Marietta College track & field competes at the All-Ohio
Division III Outdoor Championships, which will be hosted by Ohio
Wesleyan. The meet was orginially scheduled for Saturday (Apr. 14)
but was postponed because of weather. Teams from the OAC, HCAC,
NCAC and the UAA will gather in Delaware for the annual event.
A year ago, the Pioneer men finished tied for eighth place with 33 points, while the Pioneer women placed tenth with 31 points. There were 21 schools, representing the OAC, HCAC, NCAC and UAA, at the event.
Head Coach Derek Stanley has 30 student-athletes, 13 men and 17 women, expected to be traveling to Delaware to represent the school at the meet. Overall, a Pioneer will be competing in 30 of the possible 40 events.
