Marietta Volleyball's Doolittle named Academic All-OAC Honorable Mention

TWINSBURG, Ohio - The Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) announced the 2004 Volleyball Academic All-OAC winners this morning (Nov.16). Marietta College middle hitter Ellen Doolittle (Louisville, KY/DuPont Manual) earned Academic All-OAC Honorable Mention honors this season.

Doolittle, a sophomore, carries a 3.71 GPA as an advertising/public relations major. She saw action in 62-of-99 games for the Pioneers and played the year with a broken bone in her foot. Doolittle averaged 2.48 kills per game and finished with 65 total blocks.

Marietta closed the season with a 8-21 overall record, 2-7 in the Ohio Athletic Conference.
