The Cardinals, who entered as the fourth-highest scoring team in the nation, jumped out early when Ana Gamble nailed a three-pointer on their opening possession, and Laura Roth followed with a lay-up off a Pioneer turnover, the first of Marietta's 30 turnovers in the game.
Otterbein continued to pour it on the rest of the game, leading at intermission 43-15. It increased its advantage to 54 points by the 8:23 mark of the second frame and cruised to the 54-point victory.

The trek does not get any easier for Marietta, as it plays host to No. 5 Wilmington Saturday (Jan. 27) at 3 p.m. on Fenton Court. The first-place Quakers (16-2, 10-1 OAC) will be looking to rebound from its first Conference loss of the year after they fell to Capital 77-69 on Wednesday.
