WILMINGTON, Ohio — Marietta College's senior guard Justine Pagenhardt (Oakland, Md./Southern Garrett) scored a game-high 25 points, but Wilmington College rolled to an 88-65 victory over the visiting Pioneers Saturday (Dec. 8) afternoon in Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) play. The loss, Marietta's third in a row, dropped its record to 2-6 overall and 0-3 in league play. The Quakers improved to 7-1, 3-0 in the OAC.

Marietta, who turned the ball over a season-low 16 times, finished the day 22-of-67 (.328) from the field, including 7-of-25 (.280) from beyond the arc. Wilmington, who dominated the boards 51-39, shot 35-of-66 (.530) from the floor, including 11-of-21 (.524) from long range in the win.

In addition to Pagenhardt's 25 point-effort, Marietta got 14 points from sophomores Jamie Beckett (Wooster/Triway) and Nikki Driscoll (Bellaire). Both Pagenhardt and Beckett finished with nine rebounds in the game.

Wilmington had four players reach double figures. Kortney Kin finished with 20 points and 12 rebounds, Katie Streck had 15 points, Claire Brown added 12 points and Marianne McGoron contributed 11 points.

Marietta will return to action Friday (Dec. 14) evening when it travels to Tiffin, Ohio, for a 7:30 p.m. match-up with Heidelberg College. It will be the Pioneers' last game before Christmas.
