Lady Pioneers selected No. 14 in first USRowing Poll of the spring

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana - The Marietta College women's rowing team, which was picked No. 14 in the preseason USRowing Poll, remained in the No. 14 spot in the first poll of the regular season, the organization announced Wednesday (Mar. 30).

Smith received all nine first place votes and sits atop the poll. Ithaca, Trinity, Williams and William Smith round out the top five in the poll.

Marietta will return to action Sunday (Apr. 3) when its hosts the 11th Annual Marietta Invitational. Joining the Lady Pioneers will be Dowling and North Park. Action gets underway at 8 a.m. on the Muskingum River.
