Women's rowing moves to No. 13 in USRowing DIII Poll

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - The Lady Pioneer Navy were voted No. 13 in the latest USRowing poll, released this afternoon (Apr. 27). Marietta, who was not ranked in the previous poll, climbed into the top 15 after a great race over the weekend at the Atlantic Collegiate League Sprints in Carlisle, PA, where it finished just under a second behind No. 10 Washington (MD) in the finals.

Ithaca remained atop the poll, earning eight of nine first-place votes. Trinity earned one first-place vote to stay in the second position, while Smith ranked third. Puget Sound and the United States Coast Guard Academy rounded out the top five.

Marietta's next race is Saturday (May 7) when it travels to Ohio University for the Mid-American Collegiate Rowing Association Championships (MACRAs) in Athens.
