Pioneer women's tennis falls 8-1 to Otterbein
Carraher remains undefeated with win at first singles

WESTERVILLE, Ohio — Marietta College fell 8-1 to host Otterbein College in Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) women's tennis action Tuesday (March 31) afternoon.

The Cardinals improved to 9-4 overall and 2-0 in the OAC. The Pioneers fell to 1-3, 0-2 in league play.

Senior three-time All-OAC standout Amanda Carraher (Hilliard/Hilliard Davidson) stretched her win streak to four matches with a 7-6 (7-4), 6-4 victory at first singles. She has now compiled a 33-4 record as a Pioneer.

Marietta is back in action on Thursday (April 2) afternoon when the Pioneers play host to John Carroll University. The match is slated for 3:30 p.m. at the Beren Tennis Center.
