Marietta women fall 9-0 to host Baldwin-Wallace
Carraher snaps eight match win streak with three-set loss

BEREA, Ohio — The Baldwin-Wallace College women's tennis team defeated visiting Marietta College 9-0 in an Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) match on Saturday (April 18) afternoon.
The loss dropped the Pioneers' record to 2-7 overall and 1-6 in the OAC. The Yellow Jackets improved to 9-9, 6-0 in league play.
Baldwin-Wallace's Caitlyn Pecinovsky became the first player this season to knock of Marietta's three-time All-OAC senior standout Amanda Carraher (Hilliard/Hilliard Davidson) in singles action. Carraher snapped an eight-game win streak with a 6-3, 3-6, 1-0 (10-8) loss at first singles.
Marietta resumes OAC play on Wednesday (April 22) afternoon when the Pioneers play host to Mount Union College at 3:30 p.m. |

Junior Lauren McKiernan and the Pioneers were swept by Baldwin-Wallace on Saturday.
