Every year, student machines introduced to the campus network may contain harmful viruses and malware. The best way to insure the integrity of the network is to require that all anti-virus software and operating systems are current and maintained.

Each student accessing the Marietta College network is required to login and to maintain operating system patches and an up-to-date anti-virus software package.

Note: The registration software will not collect any personal information.

 

Wireless Network Directions

To set up your Marietta College Housing wireless connection:

  • Click the Start button
  • Open Network Connections (Settings/Network Connections)
  • Open Wireless Network Connections
  • Click Properties

Network Connections

  • Click the Wireless Networks tab
  • Click Add...

Enter the following fields.

  • Network name (SSID):
    MariettaCollegeHousing
  • Select Network Authentication: WPA-TSK (or WPA-AES)
  • Network key: marietta
  • Confirmation network key: marietta
  • Click OK to confirm each update.
