If a building is locked and you have permission to be in it after it closes, please call x 3333.

We are not, however, able to unlock a dorm room.

If you have locked yourself out of your room...

  • Stop by or call the RA's office for your area. The RA on duty will be happy to let you into your room.
  • If you can't find the RA on duty—and it's not late at night—see the RA who lives on your floor.
  • If you're unable to locate an RA, contact your resident director.

College ID Cards

Marietta College ID cards can be obtained between 9:00am and 4:00pm.

Do you have a broken or damaged ID card?

Bring it to our office and we'll issue you a new one for a replacement fee of $25 *.

Did you lose your ID?

We will issue you a new ID card for a replacement fee of $25 *.

(Please note: You must pay the replacement fee at the Cashiers's window in the Irvine Administrative building. This fee can not be billed to your student account).

Parking Permits

Marietta College has made arrangements with ParkAdmin o offer parking permits for the academic year. (Purchase a permit online.)

Academic Year Fees
Students - $45
Faculty and Staff - Free

Students are required to register each vehicle that they drive and park on campus for every academic year.
Student permits are to be displayed on the lower corner of the front passengerside window.
Students must register for a permit online with ParkAdmin.

Employees register each vehicle that they drive once, keeping the same permit from year to year.
Employee permits hang from the inside rearview mirror.
Employees must register their vehicles in the College Police office.

Additional Vehicle Policies

The following policy will be enforced by College Police and anyone not adhering to the rules will be subject to a fine and/or vehicle towed away.

  1. Visitor Parking - All guests must stop by the College Police office and obtain a "Visitor" pass allowing them to park in the Herman Fine Arts lot. Four visitor parking spots are located on Butler Street by Fayerweather Hall.
  2. No Driving Through Barriers - No one is permitted to drive through any barriers set up between Marietta Hall and Russell Hall, Marietta Hall and Elsie Newton Hall, or anywhere else barriers are located.
  3. Service Access Roads - The access road between Gilman and the Dyson Baudo Recreation Center is strictly for service vehicles and is not for normal traffic.
  4. Signage - All parking signage located throughout campus is to be obeyed.
