2008 Alpha Xi Delta Prize winner

The Alpha Xi Delta Prize, established in 1956, is awarded annually to the member of the graduating class who has achieved academic excellence in the Department of Communication and who has exhibited proficiency in the practical application of oral communication skills.

The recipient must have a 3.5 cumulative average and have declared either a major or minor in the department. The faculty of the Department of Communication makes the selection.

In addition to the cash award given by the Alpha Xi delta Women’s Fraternity, the Communication Faculty presents the recipient with a year’s membership in the National Communication Association.
