"The mighty MC van took on the commercial coach of OU and had a marvelous time talking, eating, and laughing. Congratulations to the four students who participated at the Ohio Forensic Association workshop and tournament," stated Mabry O’Donnell, coach of the team. "The OFA Fall Workshop Tournament is always an excellent opportunity for members of the team to learn from fellow state competitors. We had a great experience this weekend bonding as a team, and we are looking forward to future tournaments," stated Megan Schreck, assistant coach.
"The first tournament of the year is never easy - you lose a certain smoothness over the summer and it can be difficult to get back in the swing of things. However, the OFA tournament conveys a welcoming atmosphere between peers and made me remember why I love public speaking," said team president, Heather Boomer.
"Forensics is really fun; I'm surprised more people don't do it," stated Tim Carr.
"I think this was a good start to a season full of potential," said Tim Kemble.
