The Marietta College Forensics (speech) team is coached by Dr. Mabry M. O’Donnell, Professor of Communication and Media Studies Hillyer Professor of Literature, Rhetoric, and Oratory and Dr. Tomeka Robinson, Assistant Professor of Communication and Media Studies

"I was proud to see our team's success in all three divisions. This was a wonderful demonstration of our program's ability to help members grow and succeed no matter where their ability level is currently. I look forward to seeing where our team is able to go from here" commented Sarah Dezso.

"I am so proud of our team and I think this tournament is a testament to how hard we have been working. The competition we faced were national caliber. I am sad that I will be graduating this May, but to see the continued success and teamwork from all members shows me the team is going to do just as well or better next year" stated Ryan Ellis.

Scott Burnham added, "The OU Appalachian Swing Tournament showcased excellent competition for the Marietta Team. Thankfully, our Forensics overcame the challenges and excelled in every genre. This was true for all levels of competition: novice, JV, and varsity."
