"Perspicacious persuasion, talented talking, and dogged determination underlie the overwhelming victory at Transylvania University. This is an exciting year for Marietta College Forensics, and we are looking forward to second semester," said Dr. Mabry O'Donnell.

"The tournament at Transylvania was an excellent way to end the season and it was great to see everyone performing at their best. The hard work that the team had put in this semester was evident in the success we had, and that success is sure to continue next semester," stated Ben Reese

Nyssa Wilkerson added, "This tournament has showcased the talent of not only our team but our coaches. Dr. Robinson has jumpstarted a debate program that is rapidly becoming known as fierce competition."

"As a team, we push ourselves and each other to excel to a tremendously high level. I can say this was definitely my best performance so far," said Dave Hood.

Sarah Dezso stated, "Being able to come together to have great laughs and time together was made that much better by the pride of an excellent performance by the team individually and as a whole."

"The Transylvania tournament was a great conclusion to one of our most successful semesters. Not only did we bring a contingency of twelve students, but our forty trophies exemplified the prowess of our program. As a senior, I am very proud of our team and the progress we have made over the past four seasons," remarked Scott C. T. Burnham.

"This tournament opened my eyes to the very talented people of Forensics. I cannot wait to learn more about the many events and become as talented as my teammates and competitors," said Sarah Snow.

"This tournament was a great improvement for me. I felt like the many hours of practice finally paid off, and I reached my personal goal of qualifying to finals in all my events," stated Sydney Maltese.

Phil Sizemore said, "The Transylvania tournament was even more fun this year, meeting some tough but friendly competition and learning a lot as we went."

"It was great being at Transy this year. I can remember how I was last year as a competitor, and I feel I have grown so much over this past year," added Kim Hughes

"This was a really great tournament for me and everyone else involved. I broke my main events for this season, and it seems like everyone else did really well also. Hopefully, this is a strong showing of what the ream will be capable of next semester," stated Andrew Kasick.

"I am extremely proud of our team. Everyone represented our team superbly around the board. Everyone Excelled. I am thrilled, it was a great way to end my last fall semester in forensics," said Ryan Ellis.

"This semester has been an exceptional one for the Marietta College Forensics program. The students have worked very hard and their hard work has paid off. Every student who has traveled this semester has experienced success. This is something of which both Dr. O'Donnell and I take great pride," said Dr. Robinson.
