Summer 2013

Stargazing and the Solar System for the Whole Family

  • Sunday, June 30, 2013 at 2:00pm The Cowboy Astronomer
  • Sunday, July 28, 2013 at 2:00pm Secret of the Cardboard Rocket (For Children!)

Please join us for a look at the stars and planets of the summer 2013 sky! Each of this pair of family-friendly programs will include a star talk about the current evening sky. In June, this presentation will be paired with a showing of "The Cowboy Astronomer," a program which focuses on what we can learn from the sky using our eyes alone. In July, we will instead show "Secret of the Cardboard Rocket," a fun-filled voyage throughout our Solar System.

Summer shows are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Hope to see you there! (If we have more audience members than can be safely seated, we will offer a second show at 3:30pm)
