Mac OS X Setup
- Click the Apple Logo from the menu at the top of the desktop and select System Preferences.
- In the Network Preferences window pull down the Location menu to New Location.
- Name the new location "Marietta College Dialups".
- Click the tab labeled TCP/IP.
- Under the Search Domains heading, enter "marietta.edu".
- Click the tab labeled PPP.
- Enter "Marietta College" as the Service Provider.
- Enter your selected phone number into the space provided.
- Enter your email address in the field labeled Account Name <username>@marietta.edu.
- Enter your password into the field provided.
- Click the check box if you wish to save your password, then click Apply Now.
- To establish a dialup connection, start the Internet Connect application, located in the Applications folder, and click the Connect button
