The Zimbra Collaboration Suite is a messaging and collaboration system. It is a modern system which integrates email, contacts, shared calendars and other collaborative tools while providing greatly improved webmail and mobile device support.
Zimbra email has been in pilot the month of July and Information Technology expects a smooth transition. This Web page contains some detail to keep you informed during this transition period.
All Marietta College email accounts will be switched to Zimbra between the dates of August 1st and 3rd. The transition will begin July 31, 2009, at 6 PM at which time you will lose access to Marietta email. The transition is expected to be completed on August 1. 2009, by midnight. Updates on the transition progress will be provided on this page.
Note: Your email address will not change and at this time, there is nothing for you to do to get ready for the switch.
